In the viral clip, Udit is seen performing the hit song Tip Tip Barsa Pani when several female fans approach the stage for selfies. The singer not only obliges but is also seen kissing them on the cheeks, drawing mixed reactions online.

As the video gained traction, Udit Narayan responded to the criticism in an interview with Hindustan Times, calling it an “expression of love.” He defended his actions, stating, “Fans are crazy, but we are decent people.

Some shake hands, some kiss on the hand—it’s all excitement. There’s no need to make a big deal out of it.”
