Rahul Gandhi criticizes UPA, NDA over unemployment in Lok Sabha debate
New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, criticized both the UPA and NDA governments for failing to address unemployment while speaking during the debate on the motion of thanks to the President’s address in the Budget Session.
“There is nothing new in the President’s speech; it repeats the same points from previous addresses,” Gandhi said.
He added that neither the UPA nor the NDA has provided a clear solution to the country’s unemployment crisis.
Gandhi also took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, acknowledging it as a good concept but stating that it had ultimately failed.
