Amritsar Rural Police arrest six drug peddlers, seize over 3 kg of heroin

Chandigarh: Amritsar Rural Police have arrested six drug peddlers and seized 3 kg 340 grams of heroin in a series of operations across four police stations. A Maruti Zen car and a Splendor motorcycle were also confiscated.

SSP (Rural) Charanjit Singh said that the arrests were made based on intelligence inputs, with two cases registered at Gharinda police station and one each at Rajasansi and Lopoke police stations.
