DC urges people follow the teachings of Guru Ravidass Ji for making egalitarian society

Jalandhar News: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal today called upon people to follow the path shown by Shri Guru Ravidass Ji to strengthen the ethos of brotherhood and egalitarianism in the society. Joining Shobha Yatra to mark the Parkash Purab of Guru Ravidass Ji here at Satguru Ravidass Dham Bootan Mandi, the Deputy Commissioner said that the teachings of Guru Ravidass Maharaj are rather more practice in modern times as these will lead to creation of a society filled with hapiness, peace, brotherhood based on the principels of egalitarianism.

Accompained by Senior AAP Leaders Deepak Bali, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, Pawan Kumar Tinu, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh, the Deputy Commissioner participated in the Shobha Yatra as a devotee. He mentioned that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has decided to celebrate this Parkash Purab as a state level event on February 12 in Jalandhar which reflect upon the Government’s unwavering faith in the teachings of Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj. 

Dr. Aggarwal said that he was fortunate that he had the opportunity to visit Guru Ravidas Dham and join the Shobha Yatra on this pious day. He also participated on the stages and tableaux of different organisations. On this occasion, he congratulated the masses while reiterating Jalandhar Administration’s commitment to celebrating Parkash Purab in an unsurpassable manner. Earlier, Chairman Satguru Ravidass Charitable Trust Seth Satpal Mal, Senior AAP leader Stephen Kaler honoured Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Senior Aap Leaders Deepak Bali, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, Pawan Kumar Tinu on their arrival at the Shobha Yatra.
