Delhi CM oath news: Swearing-in ceremony likely on February 20

New Delhi: Preparations for the formation of a new government in Delhi have intensified, with the BJP legislature party expected to meet on February 19 to decide on the Chief Minister.

According to sources, the new government will be sworn in on February 20, with the ceremony likely to take place at Ramlila Ground.

The BJP secured 48 out of 70 seats in Delhi but has been holding continuous meetings over the past eight days to finalize the Chief Minister’s name.

On February 15, BJP national general secretaries met under the chairmanship of JP Nadda to discuss organizational matters, including government formation in Delhi.

The oath-taking ceremony is expected to be held at 3:30 pm on February 20.
