14-year-old girls raped in Jalandhar, gets pregnant

Jalandhar: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 22-year-old man from Bihar, police said on Friday. The matter came to light when the 14-year-old minor became one month pregnant.

Following this, girl’s family immediately complained to the police about the matter

The police have registered a case based on the statements of the girl’s family. The accused has been identified as Prince, a resident of Bihar. Police have arrested him from near Bhargav Camp.

The doctor’s examination revealed that she was pregnant. In statements given to the police, the victim’s family said that their daughter is 14 years old and was studying in Jalandhar. The accused, 22-year-old Prince, lured her and took her with him.

About a month ago, he had illicit relations with her in the Bhargava camp area. On January 9, 2025, the victim suddenly developed severe pain in her abdomen and informed the family about it.

Following this, the family took the girl to the hospital and started her treatment. The doctors told the family that their daughter was one month pregnant.
