Monalisa, viral sensation of Maha Kumbh Mela, performs at Mahashivratri event in Nepal

New Delhi: Monalisa Bhosle, who gained fame during the Maha Kumbh Mela, has become a social media influencer and a rising public figure. Her sudden popularity has surprised many and even landed her a film offer.

Besides her film project, Monalisa recently made headlines when she was invited to an event in Kerala earlier this month. Now, she is once again in the spotlight following her appearance at a Mahashivratri event in Nepal. As a guest at the event, Monalisa interacted with a large crowd and performed on stage.

Sharing a video of her performance on Instagram, she wrote, “My Maulapur Nepal Mahashivratri Festival Live Stage Performance 2025. Monalisa Bhosle 08.”

The video quickly drew reactions from fans, with one commenting, “Very good, keep it up,” while another wrote, “You are full confident??” Others praised her, with a user saying, “Success will kiss your feet one day,” and another adding, “Didi should support like this.”

Filmmaker Sanoj Mishra, who has signed Monalisa for an upcoming film, accompanied her to the event.

Speaking about the film, he told ETV Bharat, “Monalisa comes from a lower-middle-class family. She is a nomad, and her family survives by selling garlands. In the film, she plays the daughter of a retired army soldier from Manipur who dreams of joining the army. The story revolves around the struggles she faces to achieve her dream.”
