ED arrests ViewNow Marketing CEO, wife at Delhi airport in money laundering case

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Jalandhar has arrested Sukhwinder Singh Kharod, CEO of Delhi-based ViewNow Marketing Services Limited, and his wife, Dimple Kharod, at Delhi Airport while they were attempting to flee abroad.

A lookout notice had been issued against them. Following their arrest, they were produced in court, where Sukhwinder was remanded in police custody until March 10, while Dimple was remanded until March 5.

Earlier, the police had arrested Nasir, the founder of ViewNow Marketing Services Limited, who remains in police custody. The ED conducted searches under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, as part of its probe into financial irregularities involving the company.

Officials claimed that Nasir was uncooperative during the investigation, leading to his arrest and the seizure of significant records. After examining these documents, the agency summoned the CEO and his wife.

The case was initially registered by Noida’s Gautam Budh Nagar police under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. According to the ED, ViewNow Marketing Services Limited allegedly defrauded investors by promising high returns through a fraudulent scheme involving cloud particle sales and a leasing model (SLB).

However, investigators found that the company lacked the necessary infrastructure to support such operations.

The ED’s ongoing investigation has led to the seizure of assets worth over Rs 180 crore, including luxury vehicles such as two Mercedes G-Wagons, a Lexus XUV, a Range Rover, a Jeep Rubicon, an Audi R8, and other high-end cars, along with multiple properties.
