PDA Patiala Launches Amnesty Scheme: Golden Opportunity to Settle Outstanding Dues Without Penalty

Patiala News: Patiala Urban Planning & Development Authority, Patiala is pleased to inform that Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Punjab has notified Amnesty Scheme for the allottees, who could not deposit their due installments or could not complete the construction within the prescribed time period or deposit Non Construction Fee or those who have deposted the installments fully or partially but their delay could not be condoned. Such allottees are being extended an opportunity to pay their outstanding dues in lump-sum alongwith scheme interest but without any penalty. Further, 50% amount of outstanding dues of Non Construction Charges has been waived off.

In case of the Institutional sites/Hospital sites/Industrial plots allotted by PUDA/PDA Patiala in various schemes, extension fee to be charged at the rate of 2.5% of the allotment price/auction price and the allottees to be allowed 3 years time period for fulfilment of all the conditions of the allotment letter.
This scheme would be applicable on all the properties auctioned or allotted by PUDA/PDA Patiala. The allottee who is interested to avail benefits under this Scheme can apply with the Estate Officer, PDA Patiala (according to prescribed proforma- Form A) from 01.03.2025 to 30.06.2025 and has to mention his Whatsapp number and Email ID in the application. After receipt of application, estate office will inform the applicant about the due amount via Whatsapp/Email. On receipt of information from the office, applicant will have to deposit the due amount within three months. In case a court case is pending with PUDA/PDA Patiala about the said plot/site, allottee/applicant has to withdraw the same and submit certified copy of judgement along with the affidavit and the due amount. Hence, it is a very progressive policy issued Housing and Urban Development which will prove as a wonderful opportunity for the general public. The benefits of the scheme will not be available after the stipulated time period and further action will be taken as per existing rules.
