Rachin Ravindra, Kane Williamson hit centuries as New Zealand post 362 against South Africa
Lahore: New Zealand posted a formidable 362 runs in the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy, setting South Africa a target of 363 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Batting first after winning the toss, New Zealand got off to a solid start with Will Young and Rachin Ravindra. Young scored 21 before captain Kane Williamson joined Ravindra at the crease.
The duo built a 164-run partnership for the second wicket, with both scoring centuries.
Following their dismissals, Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips played aggressive innings, pushing New Zealand past the 350-run mark. For South Africa, Lungi Ngidi took three wickets, while Kagiso Rabada claimed two.
