Change in leadership: Punjab Congress leadership to meet in Delhi on March 13

Chandigarh: Punjab Congress leaders will convene in Delhi on March 13 for a crucial meeting led by the party’s new state in-charge, Bhupesh Baghel.

The meeting, which includes members of the Political Affairs Committee, will focus on preparations for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, sources said.

Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa, along with senior party leaders, are expected to attend.

The meeting is also likely to address internal factionalism within the state unit and their are speculations that Congress may change leadership in the state.
