Production of Vande Bharat train coaches begins at RCF Kapurthala

Kapurthala: The production of Vande Bharat train coaches began on Wednesday at the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala in the presence of General Manager SS Mishra and senior officials. Several union members and factory workers attended the launch event.

The first Vande Bharat train from RCF will have 20 coaches based on the chair car system. The train features improved seating, high-speed capability, onboard entertainment, and advanced safety measures. RCF has also developed a crashworthy underframe design to enhance passenger safety.
