Chandigarh: On the second day of Hola Mahalla at Sri Anandpur Sahib, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with his wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, paid obeisance at Sri Kesgarh Sahib.

He was accompanied by Punjab Cabinet Ministers Harjot Singh Bains, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, and Hardeep Singh Khundian.

Speaking to the media, Mann extended greetings to the sadhus participating in the Khalsa festival, emphasizing that Hola Mahalla is a celebration of humanity beyond religious boundaries. He noted that millions of devotees from across India and abroad had gathered for the occasion.

The Chief Minister said the state government was committed to upgrading Sri Anandpur Sahib’s infrastructure and that a multi-specialty hospital or other essential facilities would be developed on priority.

When asked about the selection of a new Jathedar, Mann declined to comment, stating it was a religious matter and not appropriate to discuss on the occasion of Hola Mahalla.
