Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini presents Rs 2.05 lakh crore budget for 2025-26
Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini presented his government’s first budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the Vidhan Sabha, proposing an outlay of ₹2.05 lakh crore—13% higher than the previous budget of ₹1.80 lakh crore. The budget was prepared with input from 11,000 people, Saini said.
He announced that 19 out of 217 election manifesto promises have already been fulfilled. Key initiatives include the formation of a ‘future department’ to explore emerging technologies and the establishment of ‘Sankalp,’ an authority to combat drug abuse.
