N. Shravana Kumar, a 2000-batch IAS officer from Pathak’s cadre, has been appointed as the vice-chairman of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Senior bureaucrat Bhuvnesh Kumar has been nominated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Kumar, a 1995-batch IAS officer of UP cadre, is additional secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Amitesh Kumar Sinha, a 1997 batch Indian Railway Service Officer (IRAS), has been appointed as Additional Secretary in place of Kumar. Senior IAS officer Abhishek Singh has been appointed as the Director General of the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Singh is a 1995-batch IAS officer of Nagaland cadre. He will also hold the additional charge of Additional Secretary MeiTY.
