Pakistan denies involvement in Pagalgam terror attack, says it rejects terrorism in all forms

Lahore: Pakistan has denied any role in the recent terror attack in Pagalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, claiming it “has nothing to do with the incident”. In its first official response, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said the country rejects terrorism in all its forms.
“Pakistan has nothing to do with the Pagalgam terror attack,” Asif said in a statement. “We do not support terrorism in any form and the local people should not be the target of terrorists.”
Asif also referred to the ongoing unrest in parts of India, including Nagaland, Manipur, Kashmir and Chhattisgarh, saying that protests have erupted due to internal issues. “It has arisen domestically as the government is exploiting a lot of people,” he said.
The attack in Pagalgam, which occurred earlier this week, has drawn sharp condemnation across the country, with investigations ongoing to identify the perpetrators.
