Drone strikes injure four Pakistani soldiers, claims Pakistan Army

Islamabad: The Pakistan Army on Thursday said that four of its soldiers were injured after a drone crashed near Lahore. The military claimed that several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by India were shot down across multiple regions.

According to Pakistan Army spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, drones were neutralised in Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Miano, Karachi, Chhor, Rawalpindi, and Attock. He said the attack near Lahore resulted in injuries to four personnel.

Meanwhile, Indian military officials in New Delhi said that the armed forces had foiled attempts by Pakistan to target military installations in northern and western India.

The officials also claimed that a Pakistani air defence system in Lahore was destroyed in a retaliatory strike.
