Kangana Ranaut trolled by Pakistani users for using their song in viral Instagram reel

New Delhi: BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is facing online trolling by Pakistani users after she shared a video on Instagram featuring a Pakistani song.

The 35-second reel, shot at Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, shows her dancing with peacocks and plucking mangoes, with the Pakistani track “Dum Naal Dum Bharangi Ranjheya Ve” playing in the background.

The song is sung by Pakistan’s well-known musical duo Zain-Zoheb, who are grandsons of Haji Rehmat Ali and relatives of the late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Kangana posted the reel on May 10, and it has since gone viral with over 1.6 million likes, more than 11,500 comments, and upwards of 35,000 shares. However, the video sparked backlash from Pakistani users who questioned why Ranaut, known for her critical stance on Pakistan, chose to feature a Pakistani song.

So far, Kangana has not responded to the criticism.
