Five killed, six injured in lightning strike in Jharkhand

New Delhi: Five people were killed and six others injured after a lightning strike hit Jharkhand on Monday, police said.

According to officials, the victims were caught in the open during a thunderstorm.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
