PM Modi inaugurates 103 upgraded railway stations, including Dabwali in Haryana and Baijnath Paprola in Himachal

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 103 redeveloped railway stations on Thursday under the Amrit Bharat scheme, with the main event held in Rajasthan’s Bikaner, near the India-Pakistan border.
Among the stations inaugurated were Dabwali railway station in Haryana and Baijnath Paprola station in Himachal Pradesh.
The Dabwali station has been renovated at a cost of Rs 13.22 crore, with enhanced passenger facilities and infrastructure.
Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya attended the inaugural function at Dabwali and praised the Indian Railways as a symbol of unity, allowing people from all economic backgrounds to travel together. He said such development efforts must be further encouraged.
Live telecast arrangements of the inauguration were made at Dabwali station, where Chief Engineer Seema Sharma, KGM Lalit Maheshwari, and other officials were present. The local police had strengthened barricading and security at the station for the event.
