President’s address to the joint sitting of both houses of Parliament: The need to build a self-reliant India
Punjab News: “By 2047, we have to build a nation that is associated with the glory of the past and which has every golden chapter of modernity,” President Droupadi Murmu said at a joint sitting of both houses of parliament while inaugurating the budget session here today.
She said that the aim is to create an India that is self-reliant and capable of fulfilling its humanitarian responsibilities.
The people of India have witnessed many positive changes for the first time in the nearly nine years of my government’s rule. The biggest change that has come today is that every Indian’s self-confidence is at its peak and the world’s attitude towards India has changed.
