Applications for visa renewal can be submitted through ‘Dropbox’: US Embassy

Washington: People seeking renewal of US visas can now submit applications through Dropbox, the US Embassy has said. At the same time, the embassy has clarified that such requests sent through email will not be considered.

John Ballard, consular chief of the US Consulate General in Mumbai, said the US Embassy and Consulates in India are preparing to issue a large number of visas from Indian students in 2023.
The US had decided to grant more than 125,000 student visas in 2022 and the number could be higher this year.
