25-year-old student shot dead in US, Indian national charged with murder

Washington: A shooting took place at a filling station in Montgomery, Alabama, on Sunday night. Mahkhali Akhil Sai, a 25-year-old student, died in the incident. Akhil Sai was a resident of Telangana state of India. According to reports, a man accidentally misfired at the filling station and the bullet hit Akhil Sai directly in the head.

Akhil was immediately rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Akhil Sai, a resident of Madheera town in Khammam district, died in the US state of Alabama, Telangana police said.
Police have arrested an Indian national on charges of murder. According to reports, the arrested person has been identified as 23-year-old Ravi Teja Goli.
