New system of fitness test of vehicles from today to prevent MVI’s arbitrariness in Punjab

Punjabenews: The Punjab government has blocked another avenue of corruption in the transport department. There will be a complete ban on the tampering of vehicles in fitness test from today and only vehicles whose condition will be good will be able to pass in fitness.

Not only this, motor vehicle inspectors (MVI) will no longer be able to pass the fitness of the vehicle in empty papers without bringing the car or sitting anywhere.
The Transport Department implemented a tab system for fitness test of vehicles. This tab will only work at the fitness test location. This tab will not work outside the 500-meter radius of the test location. Not only this, MVI will have to upload six of the vehicle through the software installed in the tab while taking the fitness test.
