London: A British inquest has heard that Prince Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud, a member of the Saudi royal family, died after suffering a cardiac arrest triggered by a combination of party drugs at a London hotel.
The inquest was told that the 29-year-old prince consumed GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) along with other substances before collapsing. Medical evidence presented during the hearing concluded that the combination of drugs led to cardiac arrest, resulting in his death.
Emergency services were called to the hotel, but despite efforts to revive him, the prince was pronounced dead.
The inquest examined the circumstances surrounding the incident and the medical cause of death. No evidence of foul play was reported during the proceedings.
The hearing concluded that the prince died from the effects of drug intoxication that caused a fatal cardiac arrest.
