Mohali News: The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm at the I.S. Bindra PCA Stadium, Mohali, on Friday.
The celebration witnessed the presence of the entire PCA staff, who gathered to mark the historic occasion. The National Flag was hoisted by Shri Deepak Bali, Vice President, Punjab Cricket Association, in a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Deepak Bali spoke about India’s journey to Independence and paid tribute to the countless freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He highlighted Punjab’s remarkable contribution to the freedom struggle, stating that the state produced some of the country’s greatest freedom fighters whose courage and sacrifices played a pivotal role in India’s Independence.
The celebration concluded with a High Tea, where members of the PCA staff came together to commemorate the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride.
