Achievers Group files nominations for Gymkhana Club elections; candidates get members’ support

Punjab E News: The Achievers Group formally filed nominations for the upcoming Jullundur Gymkhana Club elections on Saturday, with all four candidates and the group’s executive members present at the club. The nomination process was attended by members of the media, while genuine interest and excitement around the upcoming elections were visible among Gymkhana members. A majority of the members who spoke to the True Scoop team on the ground expressed their support for the Achievers Group candidates.

The Achievers Group candidates contesting for various posts include Amit Kukreja for Secretary, Dheeraj Seth for Junior Vice President, Harpreet Singh “Goldy” for Joint Secretary, and Saurabh Khullar for Treasurer. The group’s Executive Members — Nitin Behl, Mohinder Singh, Shalini Kalra, Rajeev Bansal, Atul Talwar, Vinnie Dhawan, M B Bali, Jubin Shangari and Rishu Jhanji — were also present during the nomination filing.
The Achievers Group candidates also shared their vision for the club, with Treasurer candidate Saurabh Khullar emphasising the importance of greater transparency and accountability in financial management. Joint Secretary candidate Harpreet Singh “Goldy” said he wants the Gymkhana Club to become a “second home” for youngsters as well, with more opportunities and activities that encourage the younger generation to engage with the club. Meanwhile, Executive Member Nitin Behl expressed confidence in the entire Achievers Group panel, saying that the group stands firmly behind all its candidates and wishing them “all the very best” for the upcoming elections.
