Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia questioned at CBI office
New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with a liquor policy case. Manish Sisodia had reached Rajghat before being questioned.
On reaching Rajghat, he said, “I have come here to seek bapu’s blessings. Addressing aam Aadmi Party workers, Sisodia said, “The allegations against me are false and I am not afraid of going to jail.”
On Saturday, Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi had said that Manish Sisodia will go to the CBI headquarters and fully cooperate in the investigation. He also said that the BJP has not been able to prove corruption of even a single rupee till date.
According to Delhi Police, Aam Aadmi Party workers blocked traffic to protest against the questioning of Manish Sisodia. They were stopped and not allowed to cross the barricades so they sat on the main road, disrupting traffic.
“They have realised that the BJP is in power, Arvind Kejriwal. Only AAP can close their shop to divide the country. After Delhi, Punjab, AAP has opened a window of hope in Gujarat. Aap ended BJP’s one-and-a-half decade rule in MCD in Delhi.
