Notice issued to Punjab government on plea of Sukhjinder Sunny, accused in sacrilege case

Chandigarh: The High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab government on the petition of Sukhjinder Sunny, an accused in the sacrilege case.

The High Court today issued notice to the Punjab government for August 28 on a plea seeking documents related to the probe conducted by the CBI and statements recorded in the case.
An FIR was registered against Sukhjinder Sunny on September 25, 2015 at Bajakhana police station under sections 295, 295A, 506, 153A and 120B of the IPC.
