Chandigarh: An important meeting of the Punjab Cabinet will be held in Chandigarh today. This information was shared by Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua. Earlier, a meeting of the Punjab Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at the Punjab Civil Secretariat on February 21.

The government will not be able to take new decisions in the cabinet meeting to be held today. If the government wants to take a new emergency decision, then permission will have to be taken from the Election Commission. The government will not be able to make any new announcement due to the code imposed by the Election Commission regarding the Jalandhar by-election.
