Former Jalandhar DCP Rajinder Singh joins BJP, likely to be face for by-election

Jalandhar: Retired Jalandhar police officer Rajendra Singh has joined the BJP. He has retired from SSP rank and has also served as DCP in Jalandhar. Union Minister Shekhawat welcomed him in BJP ahead of Lok Sabha bypolls.

Balkar Singh, who was earlier a DCP in Jalandhar politics, has become an MLA from Kartarpur on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket and now this time Rajendra Singh has joined the BJP immediately before the Lok Sabha by-election.
Rajinder Singh joins BJP, says he will fulfill the responsibility given to him by the party.
