Nothing illegal in Manish Sisodia’s arrest: Court
New Delhi: During the hearing of the bail plea of former Delhi minister Manish Sisodia, the court remarked that there is nothing in the arrest of Manish Sisodia which can be called illegal or wrong. The court further said that even though there has been a demand to make a ground for granting bail to the medical condition of Manish Sisodia’s wife.
But it has been observed that though Manish Sisodia’s wife’s neurological or mental illness has been claimed to be around 20 years old. In support of this, we have been given only for the year 2022-2023.
Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has received a big setback from the lower court on Friday. A special CBI court in Delhi has rejected Sisodia’s bail plea in the case.
Manish Sisodia will appeal against the lower court’s decision in the Delhi High Court. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 in connection with the excise case. He is also facing a probe by the CBI as well as the Enforcement Directorate. Sisodia’s judicial custody ends on April 5
