Bathinda military station firing case: Police issues notice to Army

Chandigarh: In the Bathinda military station firing case, the investigation is being done seriously by the police. Four soldiers were killed in this case. Now in this case, the Punjab Police has sent a notice to the army personnel for questioning. District Police Chief Bathinda has given information in this regard.

District Police Chief Bathinda said that notices have been sent for questioning of 12 personnel who were on duty at the time of the incident.
After the incident, police and army officials examined the CCTV footage of every gate of the cantonment and it became clear that no outsider had entered the cantonment at that time to kill the jawans, but the killers had come from inside. The investigation team is likely to unearth the matter soon.
It may be recalled that four people were killed in the firing at Bathinda military station. The incident took place at 4.35 am. The entire area was sealed after the incident.
