Punjab BJP leader shot by miscreant in his home, is out of danger

Chandigarh: Punjab BJP SC Morcha general secretary Balwinder Gill was shot dead by two unidentified masked motorcycle-borne assailants at his residence in Jotisar Colony here late this evening, police said. Balwinder Gill has been taken to a private hospital in Amritsar for treatment.

    SSP Amritsar Rural Satinder Singh and police force reached the spot and conducted an investigation. The SSP said Gill was present at his house in the evening. During this time, two people came and rang the bell of the house. When Gill opened the door, he was shot at, which hit him in the jaw. He has been taken to a private hospital in Amritsar for treatment.
