Before being arrested, Amritpal addressed Gurdwara sangat before arrest, asks them to continue struggle
Punjab E News: Bhai Amritpal Singh, the head of ‘Waris Punjab De’ organization, today made his arrest at rode, the native village of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale. A video made before Amritpal’s arrest is also going viral on social media. In which he has issued a message in the name of Sikh sangat and youth.
In his video message, Amritpal said, “About a month ago, in the attack on the Sikh community by the Government of India in collaboration with the Punjab government, the kind of siege they tried to arrest us, at that time we did not think that this was an arrest. Because if they wanted to arrest, they would have come home and told me that they wanted to arrest and I wil have happily given my arrest.”
Amritpal further said, “This action had touched the hearts of Sikhs all over the world and they felt the pain of the attack on the Sikh community. Sikhs all over the world held protests and in those protests, Sikhs expressed their heartfelt feelings. So within a month, many Sikhs were oppressed. “
The ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief says that in the last one month, many Sikhs have been tortured. They were caught indiscriminately and the Sikh youth who had the pain of Sikhism, used to write something on social media and used to say something, they also behaved in such a way that they were picked up and thrown into jails. Therefore, after all this, the goodness of the Sikh community would have gone away. That misconception is that we are equal citizens, we are completely free, many had this illusion in their minds, which was dispelled this time.
Meanwhile, Amritpal Singh said that neither he had any fear of arrest earlier nor is it today. “I am not the kind of person to be mobbed and I leave my colleagues and go to another country,” he said.
