CM Mann hits out at turncoats, says ‘Why is there no defamation case

After appearing before a district court in Mansa in connection with a defamation case, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann hit out at opposition.

Addressing the media, he said that is defamation only for leaders, not defamation of the public when they shift their loyalties to another party for the sake of power.

Raising questions on former MLA Najar Singh Manshahia, he said, Najar Singh told that 1.5 lakh people had won him by voting and without informing the people he joined the Congress, was it not defamation of the people.

Former MLA Manshahia had filed a defamation case against CM Bhagwant Mann. In that case today Chief Minister Bhagwant Mansa appeared in the court today.

The next hearing in the case is on December 5.
