Rohtak: Political circles in Rohtak were abuzz on Monday after former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala made an unscheduled visit to the residence of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, leading to a closed-door meeting with Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda.
Earlier in the evening, Chautala had visited the residence of martyr Lokendra Sindhu to offer condolences, where Deepender Hooda was also present.
The two leaders were seen sitting together during the visit. Later, as Hooda left the residence, Chautala also departed, and both reached Maturam Bhawan in D Park, where they held a brief meeting behind closed doors.
Chautala’s sudden arrival at Hooda’s residence, without any prior notice or scheduled programme, caught many by surprise. The two leaders reportedly spoke for around 15 minutes in a closed room.
While the details of the conversation remain unknown, the unexpected meeting has led to various interpretations within political circles, with many speculating about possible political realignments ahead of upcoming developments in the state.
