Chandigarh: Punjabi actor and comedian Jaswinder Bhalla passed away at the age of 65 on Thursday morning. He breathed his last at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he had been undergoing treatment for some time, reports said.
Bhalla, known for his comic timing and memorable roles in Punjabi cinema, left behind a lasting legacy in both films and theatre. His contribution to Punjabi entertainment earned him admiration across generations.
The industry has plunged into mourning with the news of his demise. His last rites will be performed on August 23 at the crematorium in Balongi, Mohali.
