NEW DELHI: Indian Army Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Rajeev Ghai on Thursday said that Pakistan lost more than 100 soldiers along the Line of Control (LoC) during Operation Sindoor.
Citing the list of posthumous awards released by the Pakistani Army, Lt Gen Ghai said that around 12 Pakistani aircraft were damaged during the clashes between the two countries in May. He added that Air Chief Marshal A P Singh had also mentioned similar figures a few days ago.
Lt Gen Ghai further said that the Indian Navy was fully prepared to play its role, and if Pakistan had chosen to continue hostilities, India would have inflicted massive damage on the Pakistani side.
He said India’s forces remain vigilant and capable of responding decisively to any provocation.
