Jalandhar News: The Jalandhar Police have implemented a comprehensive security plan in anticipation of Independence Day, deploying personnel strategically throughout the city. Senior police officials have conducted thorough inspections of the security arrangements and have reviewed the status of ground reports.
The CP Jalandhar, along with the Joint CP, is directly overseeing the status of security arrangements, with reports being reviewed on an hourly basis. To bolster security, additional forces have been requisitioned from police training centers. Special search operations were carried out on crowded public areas, including railway stations, bus stands, parking facilities, and shopping malls. Each of these locations is under the supervision of an officer of the rank of ACP. Police officers have been instructed to monitor all major routes and markets, ensuring coverage of public spaces. Security drills and coordinated meetings have been conducted to facilitate seamless communication among police teams and other units, ensuring a robust and effective security presence throughout the city.
