Jalandhar News: As part of the state-level “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign, the Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has ramped up its efforts to eliminate drug-related activities and maintain close surveillance on anti-social elements. Under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur, multiple operations were carried out across various police stations over the last two days. As a result, 7 FIRs were registered and 8 accused arrested. From their possession, the police recovered 85 grams of heroin, 180 intoxicating capsules, and 39 narcotic tablets. In addition, to support the rehabilitation and psychological well-being of individuals trapped in drug addiction, 6 persons were admitted to de-addiction centers by Jalandhar Police to help them begin a new life.
