Punjab announces summer vacation for schools from June 2 to June 30 due to scorching heat

    Chandigarh: All government, aided, recognised, and private schools across Punjab will remain closed for summer vacations from June 2 to June 30, 2025, in view of the ongoing heatwave conditions.

    The announcement was made by Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on his official social media page. Notably, the summer break was observed in May last year, but has now been rescheduled due to rising temperatures in the region.
