Chandigarh: Sri Anandpur Sahib MP Malvinder Singh Kang has written to the central government highlighting the plight of Punjab farmers allegedly being compelled to purchase expensive boosters along with subsidised fertilisers.
Kang said that such practices are causing financial losses to farmers instead of benefiting them. He demanded national-level monitoring to curb the exploitation and urged the Centre to take the strictest action against those forcibly selling costly boosters along with fertilisers.
