Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed a large rally organised by the Aam Aadmi Party in a grain market under the leadership of MLA Davinderjit Singh Ladi Dhose, with several party leaders in attendance.
Senior leaders, including state AAP president and cabinet minister Aman Arora and cabinet minister Dr Balbir Singh, along with multiple MLAs, were present at the event.
Earlier, the chief minister laid the foundation stone of a School of Eminence worth around ₹20 crore in village Bajeke and a sub-divisional hospital project worth ₹18 crore.
Addressing the gathering for nearly 45 minutes, Mann launched a sharp attack on opposition parties, claiming that the 2027 assembly elections would see a one-sided mandate in favour of the AAP.
He said opposition parties lack a development agenda and accused them of keeping people entangled in basic issues for decades. Mann added that despite being labelled inexperienced earlier, his government has worked to improve governance in the state.
Highlighting achievements, he said the government has strengthened infrastructure in health, education, electricity and roads, and provided jobs to around 65,000 youth over the past four years.
During the rally, Punjabi singer Ranjit Bawa also performed, entertaining the crowd.
The event witnessed the presence of several party leaders and workers, reflecting the party’s efforts to consolidate support ahead of upcoming elections.
