New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday condemned the INDIA alliance for opposing the Special Sharp Revision of Electoral Rolls (SIR) in Bihar, asserting that every infiltrator will be identified and sent back to their countries.
Addressing a public rally in Khagaria district, Shah said the upcoming assembly elections will determine whether Bihar returns to ‘jungle raj’ or continues on the path of development.
He said, “Let Rahul Gandhi start yatras to save these infiltrators. It doesn’t matter. They can’t save the intruders by taking out an ‘Infiltra Bachao Yatra’. Each intruder will be tracked down, removed from the voter list, and deported.”
Shah also targeted RJD chief Lalu Prasad, alleging that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar focus on the state’s development, Lalu Prasad is concerned only with his family’s prosperity. He added that people do not want the return of ‘jungle raj’ in the state.
