Amritsar: Amritsar Congress district president and councillor Saurav Madan Mithu on Tuesday backed Punjab Congress chief Raja Warring’s recent decision against Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, calling it “right and courageous”.
Speaking to the media, Mithu launched a sharp attack on Navjot Singh Sidhu and Navjot Kaur Sidhu, saying the dignity and discipline of the party must come first. He added that strict action should be taken against anyone levelling allegations against the party without evidence.
“If this Mian-Bibi (Navjot Singh Sidhu and Navjot Kaur Sidhu) still do not remain silent, all their secrets will be exposed before the public,” Mithu warned.
He further said that “both their thinking and language are anti-Congress”, urging Raja Warring to stop the duo from what he described as anti-party activities instead of attempting to resolve issues with them.
