Flood relief package of Rs 1600 crore has not released despite the announcement by Central Government
Punjab E News (Pawan Dhupar): Aam Aadmi Party MLAs today raised slogans and showed placards against central Government in Punjab Vidhan Sabha. They said Central Government is paying just a lip service towards flood affected people of Punjab.
They said Central Government has not released Rs. 1600 crores till date as declared by Prime Minister during his visit to flood affected areas of Punjab. This amount is miserable meagre for rehabilitation of flood affected people.
Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that Congres party is protecting Central Government and both MLAs of BJP were not present during the today’s special session. He said that twenty days have been passed till date, but we haven’t received any amount from Central Government, said Harpal Singh Cheema.
He said that BJP Government is not helping people of Punjab in this hour of crises. He further said that Congress party is misguiding the punjabis and doing politics on this issue which is extremely painful
