Minister and Mayor dedicate newly renovated intersection to public
Jalandhar News (Pawan Dhupar): Punjab Horticulture Minister Mohinder Bhagat today dedicated the newly renovated Babrik Chowk to the public, marking the occasion with the unveiling of a bow-arrow structure that has transformed the city’s busiest intersection into an attractive landmark.
Accompanied by Mayor Vineet Dhir, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sandeep Rishi, and senior AAP leader Nitin Kohli, the Cabinet Minister said the renovated chowk will provide commuters with a refreshing view while enhancing the overall beauty of the city.
The Minister lauded Universal Sports Industry for spearheading the task of renovating this intersection, adding that their efforts have contributed significantly to the city’s beautification drive. He also urged the Municipal Corporation to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of this chowk by assisting universal sports so that the charm and appeal of Babrik Chowk remain intact for years to come.
Mr. Bhagat further highlighted that the Municipal Corporation has already launched a special campaign to revamp and beautify various intersections across the city. He added that in the coming days, people will witness massive improvements in several chowks, giving Jalandhar a more vibrant and modern outlook.
