Jalandhar: The Jalandhar court on Monday adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of Gursharan Singh alias Prince, the main accused in the death case of Richie KP (36), son of former MP and senior Akali leader Mohinder Singh KP.
The matter will now be taken up on September 30. Police said the search for the accused is still underway.
Richie KP was killed in a four-vehicle collision on September 13 in Jalandhar.
His last ardas (bhog) was held on Sunday, attended by Radha Soami Dera chief Gurvinder Singh Dhillon, Jalandhar MP Charanjit Singh Channi, Congress MLA and former hockey player Pargat Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Sufi singer and former BJP MP Hans Raj Hans along with several other prominent personalities.
