BJP MP Kangana says her Manali restaurant made only ₹50 in a day, struggles with expenses; video goes viral

Manali: Bollywood actress and newly elected MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, has expressed concern over the poor sales of her restaurant in Manali. During a recent visit to the town, she told locals and the media that her restaurant’s one-day sales had dropped to just ₹50, while staff salaries and other expenses amounted to ₹15 lakh.

Ranaut, who is currently touring disaster-hit areas of Himachal Pradesh, visited Palchan village in Manali to meet affected families.

“I am also Himachali and I am from here. People come to me for help, but they should also understand my pain. I am a single woman. My restaurant’s sale is just ₹50 and costs ₹15 lakh. The central government has given ₹10,000 for the disaster,” she said while speaking to the media.

Her remarks have drawn widespread attention on social media, with many users discussing the financial challenges she is facing alongside her new political responsibilities.
